The book is written by Dr Paul Symonds who did a PhD in wayfinding as a sociocultural experience. Paul studied wayfinding for 5 years at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom and he lives in the UK.
Paul has also provided wayfinding design consultancy for several clients, including Cardiff Bay Harbour Authority (Wales), Birmingham International Airport (England) and Gatwick Airport (England).
